Georgie and Freddie Michalchuk '26 create holiday-focused cookies, including pie-inspired treats for Pi Day, March 14.
In Nov. 2024, twins Freddie and Georgie Michalchuk ’26 started a cookie business while balancing school, creating new flavor line ups for special holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day.

There are a couple of holidays in March, but one seems to align with the twins’ sweet treats extraordinarily well: Pi Day.
On this day, March 14, or 3.14, math fans celebrate the mathematical constant π by eating, well, pies.
In honor of Pi Day, the twins planned a special menu consisting of delicious and distinct pie-cookies for customers to taste and enjoy. This menu includes blueberry, strawberry shortcake, apple, french silk, pumpkin, and key lime.
Benny Willers ’08, the twins’ coach and a constant customer, expressed his love for the cookies with the statement, “Their cookies are truly delicious.”

Keeping up with orders is challenging. Georgie stated, “It’s not that easy—we both are in year-round sports, AP classes, and student government.”
Yet, they still manage to create sugary treats for cookie lovers around campus.
Vincent Douglas ’25 repeatedly described the cookies as “damn fine blueberry pie!” He added, “I look forward to having them again. I just kept going back for more.”
Freddie and Georgie truly found a unique way to celebrate this day with the rest of Riordan, providing this easily accessible sweet treat for everyone who orders them, making this math holiday elevate in meaning within the Riordan community.
Customers can find the menu on their Instagram account @twin.cooking_ along with posts of them baking.
When concocting the idea, Freddie said they thought, “Why not make the pie into a cookie? It fits the brand, and in my opinion, pies are better in cookie form.”
