Disney+, founded in November 2019, has been on the rise. With the lockdown orders and regulations due to the COVID pandemic, more people have been at home for the past year or so.

However, this meant more screen time and therefore more time for people to access Disney +. Let’s hear what some teachers think about Disney + and the new movies and shows out now.

Social Science teacher and co-moderator of the Movie Madness Club Cory Nelson gave his thoughts on the new movies coming to Disney+. He said, “I love Mandolorian, WandaVision was great, but I really just love all the nostalgia from the old movies. I am looking forward to anything Star Wars related, and also the new Mighty Ducks series.”

Nelson added, “There are not any disappointments, I love Disney+. It will be awhile before I go back to movie theatres. I have always been the type of person to have a really good sound and tv setup at home and enjoy them when they come out on dvd or streaming.”

Chris Fern, Social Science Department Chair and co-moderator of the Movie Madness Club said, “The Mandalorian has been far and away my favorite series on Disney+ so far, though I did really enjoy WandaVision and am very excited about Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki! Movie wise, Soul was my favorite release during the COVID times.”
