In San Francisco, there are many hidden gems, but Snow Bliss Cafe might just be the sweetest secret of them all. As I walked into this charming West Portal cafe, I felt welcomed and a great sense of comfort. This cafe has everything you need for a perfect afternoon pick-me-up: bright decorations, long hours, and a menu with traditional and new, creative menu items that span both sweet treats and savory options.

After perusing the menu, I decided on the Mango Bingsu, which features a generous serving of Korean-style shaved ice topped with fresh mango chunks and a huge scoop of mango ice cream. It also includes a side of mango syrup and colorful mango mochi. Mango Bingsu shaved ice is not your typically hard and crunchy shaved ice. Instead, it has a heavenly, milky, snow-like texture.

Since it is a bigger portion and a higher price ($16.99) I would recommend sharing it with a friend. I can honestly say that it was the most inspired and delicious shaved ice I have ever had.

I would rate it a 4/5 and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a new and innovative refreshing sweet treat.
