Helena Kai Murguz '25, Staff Reporter and Artist
Helena (Kai) Murguz '25 is a staff reporter and artist for The Crusader and art director for The Shield. Her favorite drawing that she’s done for The Crusader is the editorial cartoon in Take a Break from Stress of Social Media because it was her first assignment for the newspaper and it won two awards. Her favorite story she wrote was National suicide prevention hotline rolls out new number : 988 because of the research and analysis she got to do for the story. Kai is a part of the wrestling team, stage crew, art club, and tea club at school. Outside of school, you can find her playing guitar, reading, listening to rock music, and going to her taekwondo classes.
