Katelyn Leong ’25 is the current Campus News Editor for The Crusader. She joined the newspaper team her freshman year to learn more about journalism and develop her overall writing skills. Beside newspaper club, she is also part of the girls varsity volleyball team and an executive member of Student Parliament. She’s a member of the marching band’s fall color guard, Campus Ministry’s CORE service team, the Riordan Knights club, the Asian Student Association, and National Honor Society. In her free time, shelikes to draw, listen to Taylor Swift, and watch comedies and family sitcoms. Her favorite article is the closing of Tanforan mall because the subject is very close to her heart. When she was younger, she would often go to this mall and spend time with her parents. Tanforan reminds her of these fond memories and writing this article brought it full circle for her.
