Angela Jia ’25, National and World News Editor

Angela Jia ‘25 is the Editor in Chief of The Crusader Newspaper. She is passionate about the importance of journalism in conflict zones and enjoys reading investigative pieces from the Washington Post by Caroline Kitchener. She admires the honesty, nuance, compassion, and depth that characterizes Kitchener’s work and hopes to emulate that in her own reporting. Jia is also founder and captain of Riordan’s Speech and Debate team. Her favorite story she’s written is San Mateo County overwhelmed by domestic violence because she feels strongly about shining a light on the prevalence of abuse.
