Angela Jia '25, National and World News Editor

Angela Jia ‘25 is the National/World News Editor for The Crusader. She joined the club initially as a way to simply get more involved in school activities, but quickly became passionate about journalism and its importance in society as a fourth pillar of democracy. Besides The Crusader, she is a part of ASA and is the founder and captain of Riordan’s Speech and Debate Club. Besides coaching debate, she is also a competitive speaker and has qualified to three national tournaments. Her favorite story is SCOTUS overturns Roe v. Wade because writing it gave her new insight on journalistic objectivity versus neutrality.
