Grayson Salomon ’22, Editor-in-Chief
Grayson Salomon ’22 first joined The Crusader staff as a sophomore because he thought it
would be beneficial to learn about journalism. This year, he is taking the position of Editor
In-Chief after being Co Editor In-Chief during the 2020- 2021 school year. His favorite stories
are the coverage of the 40 year anniversary of Coach Liam Watters and Mrs. Ottilie Valverde
for being a part of the Crusader community because he enjoyed learning about his former
teachers and seeing the love the rest of the Riordan community has for its faculty. The Valverde
story also won a Best of SNO Award. At Riordan, he is part of the 2021-2022 Marianist LIFE
Team, is secretary of the DJ Club and is a part of Crusader Nation. Outside of Riordan, he
enjoys keeping up with pop and music culture, concerts, nature, DJing and listening to a lot of
music.
