Rachel Gerke ’27, National and World News Editor
Rachel Gerke ‘27 is the National and World News editor for the Crusader newspaper. She joined the newspaper in her sophomore year to improve her writing skills and learn more about journalism overall. She is also the vice president of Riordan’s chapter of the Women’s Youth Writing Association, and a part of the girls tennis team. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, listening to music, and being with friends. Her favorite story she has written so far is Community welcomes Kelleher as new wellness counselor because it offered meaningful background on a new faculty member.
